eVIDENCE is a publicly funded project within the framework of the programme
„Digitization of the Energy Transition“ of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). Within the framework of eVIDENCE, the feasibility of two solution dimensions is being researched and piloted:
(a) The probative, smartphone-based digital image technology for the recording of energy measurement values, mainly in the categories electricity and fuel
(b) The transparent analysis and mobile available visualization of consumption values.
This is intended to contribute to higher energy efficiency, which can be achieved both in the permanent energy supply in buildings & districts and in the temporary energy supply in transport, logistics and construction.
Consortium partners of the three-year funded project (Start in January 2020) are the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), Germany’s National Metrology Institute, Braunschweig/Berlin, the construction services company STRABAG AG, Cologne and pixolus GmbH, Cologne, experts for mobile image recognition solutions, leading the consortium.
